Install Chrome Extension

Save a Vimeo video with the extension

  1. 1Install VodMates from the Chrome Web Store. Pin the extension and reload your Vimeo video page.
  2. 2Play the video, then use the VodMates download button beside the player. Select one of the available qualities.
  3. 3Keep the download tab open. Watch the downloading stage, then wait while video and audio merge into an MP4.
  4. 4When the file is ready, check your browser downloads. If automatic saving did not start, use Save MP4 again.

Save a video from Telegram Web

  1. 1Open Telegram Web in Chrome with VodMates installed. Reload the page after installing or updating.
  2. 2Open the chat video and start playback so its media becomes available.
  3. 3Use the VodMates download control for one video, or select several videos for a batch.
  4. 4Keep Telegram Web open while the queue runs. Cancel downloads stops pending work. A failed transfer shows an error you can use to retry or contact support.

Use a Vimeo or TikTok link on the website

  1. 1Copy the individual video page URL. The online tool reads Vimeo and TikTok links; Telegram and embedded players use the extension.
  2. 2Paste the URL into the home page link tool and select Find video. Parsing can take time depending on the source.
  3. 3Once the title and qualities appear, choose a quality and select Download selected quality.
  4. 4Vimeo opens a download task with progress and merging stages. TikTok prepares its available file and starts a browser download.
